PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Master of Biblical Studies (M.B.S.) at Archangel Gabriel University (AGU) is a fully online graduate program designed to prepare students for advanced scriptural study, research, and ministry. Delivered through a robust virtual learning environment (VLE), this program provides theological depth, linguistic proficiency, and scholarly rigor in a flexible, accessible online format.

Students will develop expertise in biblical languages, exegesis, hermeneutics, and systematic theology, with opportunities to apply these disciplines in ministry, teaching, and academic research.

PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES

Graduates of the online M.B.S. program will be able to:

1. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Old and New Testaments using critical and historical methods.
2. Apply advanced hermeneutical principles to interpret biblical texts accurately.
3. Translate and exegete Scripture from the original Hebrew and Greek texts.
4. Integrate theological and historical perspectives into applied ministry and teaching.
5. Produce graduate-level research and writing in biblical studies.
6. Utilize digital tools for theological research and online ministry engagement.
